Whether or not we design for an emotional reaction, our customers will have one. We must design software to inspire positive emotions, even love, in our customers.

About Michael

Michael really hates talking about himself in the third person, so I'm not going to. I have been designing software professionally since 1995. In that time, I've worked on projects including enterprise development projects, internet start-ups, retail, consumer, and some of the largest software products and services in the world.

Most recently, my focus has been on creating teams that design fantastic software for all users, consumer, business and developer software. I started my career in design leadership, when we created the Microsoft Dynamics CRM User Experience team, then I designed the first user experience and design team for the Microsoft Data Platform Division. Before joining UiPath where I intend to design the next working revolution, I stopped by to redesign the Amazon retail search experience.

I am an experienced, hands on, full systems designer with practical experience designing languages, API and user interface. My specific design expertise is in art direction, interaction design, information architecture, customer and experience research, and creative team management.
