Photography has been a lifelong passion. I've been taking photos since I bought my first Canon film camera and I learned darkroom techniques early. I happily moved to digital photography when the first 3mp camera became available, which I borrowed from my digital imaging laboratory constantly. I'm always looking forward through my lenses.

All photos on the website were taken by or created by me.

With a brush and pencil or with digital tools, creating beautiful images is always satisfying.

Early last year, I needed to dramatically improve my Adobe Illustrator Skills, so I created a project to do exactly that. As it turns out, I was also taking Argentine Tango lessons at the same time.

I spend most of my time in this creative space, often making works that are simply catastrophic, but sometimes they work out. I love to disappear into the creative process and can lose days in the shop building furniture of my own design. In the past, I have spend time creating art that can be frightening at Halloween. At some point, steampunk became an influence, so much found art and creations to be made.

After taking a hand tools woodworking class, I created this desk from cedar that I had milled off of my own property. From growth to use, this project was very satisfying.

I took a hand tool woodworking class at Pratt, and we were supposed to make a simple book shelf. I re-imagined it and made sure it would be useful in my home.

I enjoy tinkering with lighting. This one was inspired by some pendants I discovered made out of hammered copper. I enjoy the pass-through of the cardboard and the experience it creates.

A generational project. These lamps started life in my grandfathers school workshop where he was a high school wood shop teacher. They hung in his house for decades with plastic for the lenses that could only be purchased in the 60s. I re-imagined them with hand cut and shaped stained glass and new electrical.
